France With Love
The 1876 Centennial Celebration held in Philadelphia was attended by 20% of the total US Population at the time. The main image features the Statue of Liberty’s hand; a gift from France which was on display the exhibition. Tourists were able to enter into the hand for a small price; which helped fund building the full Statue of Liberty. Conceptualized in collaboration with French-born American Simonez Wolf. Hand-printed in New York City on a 100% Cotton body.
"America is an adorable woman chewing tobacco."
