Seattle Experience
These photos are from this Fall in Seattle - a very strange place. You can see the full-size photographs in the Gallery here. Enjoy
Matchbooks from Seattle
This Fall I went to Seattle with Vanessa. It's a strange place. They had an amazing vintage store the size of a mall. I got a suitcase from the 50s and about a dozen matchbooks. At the airport I had to rip out all the actual matches, but was able to keep the matchbooks. I love the designs and colors. Check them out.
BELIZE I: CAYE CAULKER
Back from Belize. Didn't meet Shyne but did meet many amazing people and wildlife from Sharks to Moray Eels, Stingrays to Howler Monkeys.
Really Sean Really
Sean is DJing in London this Saturday. If you are across the pond support the bloke! Details below:
Farewell Meadowlands
Last night was the final game in the history of the Meadowlands, a stadium the New York Jets have called home since 1984.
The weather was unfathomably cold as the NFL decided to move the game from 1 pm to 8 pm, and the stadium was unfathomably dry, as the Jets decided it was not wise to sell alcohol in an environment that could have become chaotic at the drop of a hat. As if there wasn't enough emotions running through all the frozen fans, if the Jets won the game, they are in the playoffs, if they lose, they're out, and have shamed the stadium, like some not to be named team did a week before.
MIAMI DAY & NITE
Art Basel in Miami is a lot of things. One of those is definitely "fun." You can't go wrong when you are in 80 degree weather surrounded by more art than you can digest, half of New York, and a line down the street of eccentrics.
Mister Mort
Mordechai Rubenstein is a well-heeled man who has a knack at spotting other distinguished gentlemen, and doesn't discriminate for dapper ladies. His blog, mistermort.com
is like the Satorialist; but more diverse. Paired next to a Parision fashion editrix is an elderly bag lady. A recent entry is a collection of denim on denim outfits citywide. I love his site and make sure to follow him on twitter at twitter.com/mistermort-Emmett
Photography: Tim Barber, Island off Vancouver

Photographer Bastien Lattanzio: Series II
Here is the second series of photographs from the French photographer Bastien Lattanzio, simply tited "Polaroids." Another dream-esque series. Enjoy.

Photographer Aleks Woszczyna
These set of images were sent in by Aleks this week. The travel photographs put together have a dream-like, ethereal feel to them. Some look to almost be unreal. Very cool indeed, check out her blog at aleksjuliaphoto.blogspot.com
Fotographien von Berlin
I took these photos while visiting Berlin this summer with Cornelia and Han. With many of the building covered in graffiti, The Cure playing in almost any bar we entered, and a general fashion trend toward acid washed jeans, leather parachute pants and new wave styled hairdos, the city reminded me of New York in the 80s. But amid this quirky time-warp, there is a flourishing art scene and an energetic youthfulness to the city and it's people. The younger generation, too young to feel the restrictions of the wall at the time of it's reign, are growing up with an outlook and freedom that is new and profound. Berlin is a city to watch!
